“Their intelligent song writing, hard-hitting sound and pure drive cause them to stand head and shoulders above their peers. Keep your eyes peeled!” – Noise Addicition
“Unapologetically catchy and with a social conscience that yells rather than speaks to all, Fighting Fiction immediately crave your attention, capturing you from the first rush of jingle fused beats and failing to relinquish their hold until the last burst of gang led vocals truly ensnares. More than promising, this is a band you need to discover now.” – 12/13 Room Thirteen
“with a touch of ADTI, some gorgeous sonic textures and arching vocals, this Portsmouth mob demand your attention from the off” – Kerrang!
Born in Brooklyn NYC, over several bottles of red wine and many many whiskey’s. 3 months of total isolation with a car full of recording equipment and a blank page. A homemade recording studio in a closed season hotel. A room full of flies, snow storms and mountains. They were lost together, they suffered fear, isolation & confusion together. Black dogs reared their ugly heads, until finally they came through the fog and found Franks Daughter.
“Franks Daughter is the sound of a bloodied, broken heart, being dragged through a thorn bush on an ice cold day. The sound of a Heart slowly Unravelling”
